For competitive gaming, you want the highest fps possible.
Do not turn Vsync or Gsync on. Keep vsync off and reflex on.
One thing you want to avoid is GPU 100% load. That’s difficult to do with a light load game like Valorant though. This is the main job of Nvidia reflex, to allow gpu load to hit 99 but not 100.
When GPU load hits 100% there is a massive input lag penalty. The other input lag penalty comes from vsync, triple buffering, prerendered frames, monitor.
You want vsync off and the highest fps possible. Hard to notice tearing at that fps.
