New agent Yoru, New 4 ABLITIES, GAMEPLAY LEAKED

Only a week remains before the release of the much-anticipated Episode 2 of Riot’s competitive shooter Valorant, and fans are more hyped than ever. It appears like the hype has escalated even further since the upcoming Valorant agent ‘Yoru’ got leaked on the internet.

STILL A BAD AGENT?

Valorant’s next big update is normally only scheduled for January 12, but new information has been leaked regarding the 14th Agent, a character who is likely to go by Yoru’s name. According to the leaked information, he should have several visual and aural decoy abilities, a mix of offensive and defensive spells deemed quite powerful.

According to the leaks, his Z ability would create footsteps that the player could then send in front of him. His ability X would be a variant of Phoenix’s flashbang and one of Sage’s orbs; the flash bounces before exploding and it also has the ability to stick to walls. With his third ability, Yoru could also place teleport portals; it sends an orb in a straight line that can be stopped at will by Yoru. Activating the ability again would transport Yoru to the orb location. In the leaked images, it looks like Yoru can also send her Teleport Orb via a teleporter to the map, then teleport to her beacon once she’s on the other side.

Regarding his ultimate, Yoru would transform into a master assassin; this ability would make Yoru invisible and invulnerable after a short period of activation. Enemies cannot see or hear it while under the effect of this ability; Yoru would leave little purple footprints right behind him.

VALORANT YORU ABILITIES:

• Z: Creates the sound of fake footsteps in a specific direction. Players can use ‘Fire’ to send it ahead or pre-place it with Alt-Fire, then press F to send it ahead.
• X: Temporarily blinds enemies looking towards it. Players can press ‘Fire’ to throw it. It will pop after contacting the surface.
• C: Places a Portal that can be sent ahead and teleported through. Press ability button to place Portal, press ‘Fire’ to send Portal ahead, anchor Portal with Alt-Fire. Press ‘Activate’ to teleport through the Portal.
• Q (Ultimate): Press ‘Fire’ to become invisible for enemies and invulnerable while being able to move freely.
