Registrations for the Valorant Open Tour France are now open
On May 8, the Open Tour France, Valorant’s first French circuit, will begin. This event will last until next November, the date of the grand final. Before that, however, 3 qualifying tournaments are open to everyone.
The first qualifying tournament, the Spring Tournament, will take place from May 8 to 23. On the program, 128 teams will compete against each other to choose the 3 teams that will qualify for the finals at the end of the year. This tournament will take place in two phases and each team will play a minimum of seven matches. A classic points system based on wins and losses as well as rounds won and lost will be implemented.
During the first phase, from May 8 to 9, which will take place in the Swiss round, 7 matches in BO1 will determine the 32 best teams, which will advance to phase 2. The latter will take place from May 15 to 16 then from 22 to 23 May in a double elimination tree in BO3. As for the semi-finals and the final, they will be played in BO5. All matches from this second phase will be available on Twitch.
These different tournaments still have certain conditions in order to be able to register. You must already be at least 16 years old, with parental permission if the player is a minor, as well as be at least Platinum 1 on the game’s European servers and have at least 3 players residing in France, Belgium or Switzerland.
